Technology Services

At Eastern Lancaster County School District, our technology initiatives equip students and faculty with essential tools for 21st-century learning, foster collaboration, communication, and productivity. Our infrastructure supports current and future educational trends.

  • Students engage in versatile technology-enhanced learning with a focus on student-driven digital curriculum, aiming to elevate academic achievement and cultivate 21st-century skills.

All K-12 students have one-to-one mobile device access, liberating learning from physical confines to an internet-enabled Anywhere, Anytime paradigm. A tailored digital dashboard via the ELANCO Gateway,  Spartan Learning Portal, and Google Classroom empowers students with curriculum and tools across devices.

  • The shared commitment to academic excellence from the community, school board, administration, faculty, and support staff has enabled the implementation of the following technology resources:

    • We maintain a 1:1 computer-to-student ratio.
    • Teachers are equipped with Dell or Microsoft Surface laptops running Windows 10/11 and MS Office 365 Suite.
    • Comprehensive network access and email services are provided, with internet usage monitored and protected.
  • District technological advancements streamline operations and enhance outcomes while reducing costs. Innovations include a Data Interoperability Framework integrating critical information systems, Sangoma Digium VOIP services for seamless communication, and extensive school safety measures.

Print management and virtualization strategies optimize resource usage, managed by a dedicated technology team led by a Director of Technology overseeing network, cyber security, databases, audiovisual systems, and technical support across the district and beyond.
