Community Memo – Varsity Football Game Expectations

Dear Garden Spot Community,

As we begin another exciting season of Spartan Football, we want to ensure that all spectators have a safe and enjoyable experience at our home games. To help maintain a positive environment, please review the updated expectations for all varsity home football games at Garden Spot and reinforce these expectations with your child.  Your involvement in this process will be a huge component in our success, and I thank you in advance for your cooperation and support:

  • Game time: Kickoff is at 7:00 PM. Gates will open at 5:30 PM.
  • Student conduct: Students are expected to act in an orderly manner at all times.
  • No outside food or drink may be brought into the stadium.
  • Backpacks are not permitted inside the stadium.
  • No body or full face paint is allowed.
  • No “costume” masks permitted.
  • No balls may be brought into the stadium.
  • Re-entry policy: Anyone leaving the stadium must pay to re-enter.
  • Student supervision: Students in grades 8 and below are expected to attend with an adult.  Doing so not only provides supervision for each student, but also someone at the event who can respond in case of need or emergency.
  • Students in attendance will be restricted to the home side of the stadium for the entire game. No students should be on the visitor side.
  • Discipline: Any student removed from the event due to their conduct may face school consequences as well as lose the privilege to attend future contests.
  • Students are expected to exit the stadium at the conclusion of each event and will not be permitted to enter the school prior to leaving the campus.
